Summer students send productivity sky high
Aunir has always had strong links with the ERASMUS program. ERASMUS stands for the European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students. Students on the ERASMUS program study or do an internship for at least 2 months in a different European country, and their work is recognised by their university when they return.
Aunir has three members of staff who were recruited through this scheme - Rocio Garcia and Alejandro Criado both started their careers with Aunir as ERASMUS students and are now full time Application Specialists. Joining the team as a Laboratory Assistant this year is Yaiza Zurita who completed her university studies in June. Yaiza worked with Aunir for two months as part of the ERASMUS scheme before finishing her studies
Aitziber Miguel and Chema Chinchilla as our current ERASMUS students from Spain. Both are helping to strengthen and develop the Ingot calibrations and we'll report back on their work in due course.
In addition to this, we also have two more students who joined us for work experience. Valenti Grau and James Zhang have been working with the Aunir team; Valenti in the technical team and James in the marketing department.
Here is a photograph of our students and we wish them well as they continue their studies later this year.
